Friends is the second episode of the Salad Fingers series.

Plot

Salad Fingers decides to have a get-together with his "friends", Hubert Cumberdale, Marjory Stewart-Baxter, and Jeremy Fisher. It turns out that the trio are actually just finger puppets. Wondering what his friends taste like, he briefly inserts them into his mouth, exclaiming that Marjory tastes like "sunshine dust", while Hubert tastes like "soot and poo". He doesn't taste Jeremy. Salad Fingers then tells them that he has a fish cooking in the oven and says a nonsensical phrase in French.

In the next scene, a frightened child wandering around the barren wasteland responds to Salad's call for help. Coming inside Salad Fingers' Home, Salad Fingers says he cannot reach the fish cooking in his oven and asks the child to get it for him. As the child reluctantly reaches into the oven, Salad Fingers sees a rusty nail jutting out of the wall and reaches to stroke it, letting go of the oven door, causing it to close with the child still inside. Salad Fingers then impales his finger on the spike and begins bleeding out, turning pale and blissfully saying, "I like it when the red water comes out" before passing out.

Salad Fingers is then seen walking through a large meat locker singing "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" to himself. While inside, he meets a life-size Hubert Cumberdale, who screams distorted, electronic noises at him. Salad Fingers proceeds to stroke and tap Hubert’s face with a wooden spoon and continues wandering the meat locker while singing, poking at the meats and hooks. When Salad Fingers awakens from his dream, looking surprised, he is still pale and is sitting in a pool of his own blood. Smelling the smoke coming from the oven, Salad Fingers states, "That fish smells about done.", ignoring or forgetting the fact that he'd accidentally locked a child inside the oven.
